A two-day mock trial “State of Texas v. Lee Harvey Oswald” will be held on November 16th and 17th at the South Texas College of Law-Houston.

Building on what has been learned from the Innocence Project and the 2009 National Academy of Sciences report on forensic evidence, CAPA in South Texas College of Law will hold a two-day mock trial will apply 21st Century techniques to examine the physical evidence used by the Warren Commission and the House Select Committee on Assassinations to identify Lee Harvey Oswald as the alleged sole assassin of President John F. Kennedy on Nov. 22, 1963.
A presiding judge of the Harris County Criminal Court will serve as the mock trial judge. Robert Tanenbaum, former deputy counsel of the House Select Assassination Committee will lead the defense team. The jury will be selected from the Harris County jury pool.

CAPA will also host a dinner event at the Sam Houston Hotel the evening of November 16th. The dinner will be from 7 pm to 8pm. Alec Baldwin will be the keynote speaker. Mr. Baldwin will also be doing a book signing from 6 pm to 7 pm at the Sam Houston Hotel. The dinner ticket will include the book signing.
