Dr. Marie Fonzi is the widow of author and House Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA) investigator Gaeton Fonzi, and continues to pursue his passion to uncover the truth about the JFK assassination. She helped convince Cuban exile leader Antonio Veciana to concede publicly in 2014 that his friend “Maurice Bishop” was really the late CIA black operations expert David Atlee Phillips. Also, she wrote the preface for the 2013 edition of her late husband’s much-praised book “The Last Investigation.” It documents the government’s failure to conduct a full investigation, including leads implicating CIA officers.
